
Shohei Ohtani
Japanese designated hitter and professional baseball pitcher “Shotime” is a free agent. He has been a player for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters of Nippon Professional Baseball’s (NPB) Pacific League and the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB).
In 2023, Ohtani finished off another incredible season, making MLB history as the first player to record 10 victories and 40 home runs in a single season.
Internationally, Ohtani played for Japan in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. After Team Japan defeated Team USA, he was named the tournament’s MVP.
